Casting Call 1 x 0:30 TV/Digital SaskTel Commercial - Multiple SOC Roles

Play Creative is casting multiple actors to be in SaskTel’s 2026 Black Friday commercial! We’ll be casting roles to include variety, diversity, and overall representation of SaskTel’s customers, so if you are within the age range listed below, book an audition! Actors of all ethnicities, abilities, and gender identities are encouraged to audition.

INFORMATION

AUDITIONS: Wednesday October 7th, 2026 (MUST BOOK AUDITION SLOT)

AUDITION LOCATION: Play Creative Studios, 1515 6th Ave Regina SK S4R 6Z5

SHOOT DAY: Friday, October 23, 2026 Cast must have full availability on the shooting day.

FILMING LOCATION: Regina, SK

UNION: Auditions are open to ACTRA and non-union talent. Only Canadian Citizens or permanent residents are eligible to be hired as it is an ACTRA Local & Regional Commercial

COMPENSATION: ACTRA Local & Regional Scale

IN PERSON AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS:

Please enter through the Side B door; when facing the front of the building, this is the door on your right.

Please arrive with enough time to sign in and get settled, use the washroom, etc. Depending on the weather, we may ask that you remove your outdoor shoes, so please bring indoor shoes/slippers if you would rather not be in sock feet/barefoot.

What to expect during your audition:
- We'll have you start by stating your NAME, HEIGHT, REPRESENTATION (agency or non-represented), WHERE YOU LIVE, and IF YOU ARE AN ACTRA MEMBER.

There are no lines in this commercial, so we'll have you do the following; don't worry, we'll walk you through it and ask for any changes as necessary.

-Looking directly into the camera, neutral expression, closed mouth smile, open mouth smile(showing teeth)
-side profile (Left & Right)

-While looking directly into the camera and holding your gaze throughout(yes, you can blink), begin with a neutral expression and go into a smile while nodding your head up and down in a “yes” motion. You may reset to a neutral expression and do a few takes of this if you want to.
